Alright – today was day number 2 of mini sessions – these first two days I’m considering practice days for the longer days. I’ve learned some things already! The #1 most important thing is that kids absolutely love bribes. I can also bribe myself with a sweet treat, so it makes sense to me! The sessions are so amazing and I love them! I had 7 yesterday and 5 today so I’ve done 12 of 1000 meaning there are 988 sessions still to do – about 100 of them are already scheduled! I’m very excited.

Other thoughts – I’m second shooting a wedding tomorrow, which will be fun, but is a long one! Then during the week I’ll be editing a wedding video and a wedding gallery! I gotta stay on top of each session, because if I fall behind a little it could domino!

I also want to make sure I’m keeping a really good work/life balance. It’s really easy to let work become all encompassing. This is the busiest season, but it’s also my favorite season to just experience so I want to make sure I am! It’s our first fall and christmas season in California so I really want to enjoy it!
