Where to Find Plus Sized Basics (that actually fit)

I fluctuate in sizing, but typically hang out right around a 1x-2x so I’ve been looking for some stores that I like and this is where to find plus sized basics (that actually fit) that I like! This list might change in the future, but for right now I like these stores. I don’t buy a lot of clothes anymore because I am trying to wear more of what I already own in different ways!

1. Eloquii

I’ve gotten several blazers here that I really like! They run a lot of sales, so unless I LOVE something I won’t buy full price here.

2. Universal Standard

If it’s in your budget I love their jeans! I do buy full price here because I like the fit.

3. Old Navy

I like that old navy photographs their plus sized clothes on plus sized models so I can actually have some thought on what it might look like on. They run lots of sales!

4. Anthropologie

Anthropologie is my absolute favorite store, but I don’t ever buy anything full priced. They go on sale frequently, and then occasionally they’ll also have a sale on sale!

5. Impressions Boutique

I’m not gonna lie a lot of the outfits do give christian girl autumn but I really like them. My size constantly sells out which is a bummer!

6. Intimates

For intimates I really like mentionables they don’t have any models on their site so that you aren’t comparing what you “should” look like. And I like that too! They only go up to a 3x but I like the quality! For bras I actually LOVE these ones from amazon I’ve ordered them in multiple colors.

 

Extra store thoughts  – I worked at J.Jill and they had plus sized options if you’re looking for what I consider more workwear kind of clothes! I have not personally shopped here but I’ve heard Quince and Altar’d State have really great options!
